ASG's Spokane Office Moves to Accomodate Growth
As of Monday, July 12th, ASG has moved from its Spokane office on East Boone to a new, larger office located at North 111 Vista Road, Suite 7HI, Spokane Valley, WA 99212. This move comes at an opportune time as ASG continues to see growth in its Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho territories. The new office will accommodate the additional staff hired this year as well as provide room for growth in the future.

ASG Announces New Security Information Management Tool: Security Center
Aronson Security Group (ASG) announced at the 9th Annual ASG Security Summit & Expo that they will be bringing a new security information management tool to market. The new offering, called Security Center, is designed to produce a secure, cost effective way to store and communicate critical security information.

Attorney General Rob McKenna has been selected as one of the key notes that will address the ASG Security Summit & Expo as part of its theme “The Great Conversation.” His speech will address the role of government in developing and deploying security and safety policies to combat crime and reduce risk in the next 10 years.

ASG Announces the 9th Annual ASG Security Summit & Expo to Be Held March 9th, 2010
Aronson Security Group will be returning to Seattle’s Bell Harbor International Conference Center on March 9th 2010 to host the 9th annual ASG Security Summit & Expo. Aronson Security Group Names New Vice President of Engineering and Professional Services
Aronson Security Group (ASG) announced today that Scott Schmidt has been named Vice President of Engineering and Professional Services.
Schmidt has over 25 years in the IT and Security Integration market. His experience spans Business Process Management, Enterprise Security Architecture and Workflow, Database and Application Integration, and product benchmarking of physical and logical access control, video management, voice and IT middleware products. He has spent the last 4 years as a Senior Partner of a security program management company.

Aronson Security Names New Director of Business Development
Aronson Security Group (ASG) announced that Nigel Waterton has been named Director of Business Development in Washington State.
Before joining ASG, Waterton held the position of General Manager of the Pacific Northwest for Protection One, one of the largest and most respected monitored security services in the U.S. As General Manager, he held total responsibility for the success of Washington State from an Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Financial perspective. This included budget development, implementation of marketing and sales strategy, and detailed P&L analysis to ensure the region continued to grow and run profitably.

Aronson Security Group names new AEC and Education Account Executive
Aronson Security Group (ASG) announced that Eric Scott has been named the Account Executive for the Education and Architects, Engineers, and Contractors (AEC) vertical markets for the State of Washington. In this role he will be responsible for communicating with and advising organization within these industries in order to provide solutions that are critical to their operations as well as assist them in ensuring that security aligns with the mission, goals, and values of their organization.

Aronson Security Group names Mike Kobelin new VP of Sales and Marketing
Aronson Security Group (ASG) announced that Mike Kobelin has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Kobelin has been in the security market for 25 years. He helped build Selectron to be a leader in the Oregon market, helped lead the merger of ASG and Selectron in 2008, and helps guide the security industry through his position as Chair of PSA, the largest training and buying cooperative for integrators in the world.

ASG hires Kyle Kayler, Vice Chairman of the East Washington ASIS Chapter, as new Account Executive
ASG is proud to welcome Kyle Kayler the new Eastern Washington Account Executive.
With over 15 years experience in designing and implementing enterprise security solutions, Kayler currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Eastern Washington ASIS (American Society of Industrial Security) chapter. He previously worked for ASG as a Senior Applications Engineer with a master certification in Lenel and his return to ASG is a natural step in his career path to one of the most important roles in the security industry: the primary advisor and strategic consultant for enterprise security clients.

PSA Security Network Elects Mike Kobelin, ASG’s Director of Sales, to Chairman of the Board
Aronson Security Group (ASG) is proud to announce that PSA Security Network has elected Mike Kobelin, ASG's Director of Sales for the state of Oregon, as their new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative, elected Kobelin, as well as other directors, at the 2009 PSA –TEC in St. Charles, IL. Kobelin has been an active member of PSA since 1991 and has spent the last eight years on the Board of Directors, originally as the Western Regional Board Member and most recently as the Vice Chairman.

ASG Security Summit attracts record participation
ASG announced today that a record number of participants attended its nationally recognized Security Summit & Expo.
"We had over 450 registered attendees who were all motivated to participate in what we call 'The Great Conversation' around transformational change and innovation in the security industry," said Phil Aronson, President and CEO of ASG.
The Summit began with a keynote focused on "Innovation" by one of the top analysts and thought leaders in the security industry, Steve Hunt of Hunt Business Intelligence. Hunt urged the attendees to move from "securing a building to securing your business."
"The ASG Security Summit & Expo is one of the special opportunities in our industry to focus on end users and how they can create value with security," said Hunt. "Other conferences seem so superficial and stale compared to this one."

Selectron Becomes Aronson Security Group
Phil Aronson, President and CEO of ASG, announced today at the 8th Annual ASG Security Summit & Expo, that its year-long successful integration with Selectron has culminated in Selectron changing its name to Aronson Security Group (ASG).
