Visual FusionTM - Your data in context
Visual Fusion lets you rapidly build applications that visualize your data in a meaningful context, so, you'll spend less time finding & compiling information and more time in analysis and discovery. Visual Fusion lets you integrate virtually any data source, including enterprise information, Web services, and unmanaged workgroup files, into a common operating picture, accessible by all stakeholders through a web portal.
Visual Fusion is made up of a set of component products and technologies which work together:
• Visual Fusion Experience (VFX) is a set of rich user interface
components that include a map and timeline for exploring, and viewing information. The Map Viewer comes with a variety of map styles and a full set of tools, including navigation, distance measuring, screen capture and spatial query tools. The Timeline Viewer works with the map, giving you integrated views of your data, in space and time. Both viewers can be customized and extended through the Visual Fusion SDK, to add new themes, tools, controls, and more.
• Visual Fusion Server (VFS) provides application templates and GUI tools for building applications and managing data. With VFS, users can add feeds, apply advanced styling techniques like heat mapping, and personalize applications with custom icons and logos.
VFS is deeply integrated with Microsoft SharePoint and leverages key SharePoint
functionality for site building, workflow, and security. As a result, visual mashups can be built in SharePoint in just minutes with Visual Fusion GUIs.
