In fact, if system components are allowed to fail, there is a good chance that your system isn't operating at optimal levels. A program to help you maintain your system and manage your budget is the proactive solution recommended by ASG's customer care team.

Peak Performance Plans

Long-term preventative maintenance is one of the most overlooked "best practices" in the security industry. System testing, administration and routine maintenance of the critical components in an integrated security system at regular intervals are crucial for your system to be operating at peak performance in the event of an acute security incident.

We recommend that each customer evaluate and understand the components and functionalities of their systems that are deemed critical to the protection of their people, facilities and assets. Along with ASG's customer care team, a peak performance plan for each system or component should be developed.

Your peak performance plan may include the following elements:

  • Routine software and setting audits
  • Routine video system recording and setting audits
  • Regular and comprehensive alarm point testing
  • Regular video system and camera alignment, focusing, cleaning and testing
  • Maintenance of system CAD drawings
  • Maintenance of detailed service records
  • Routine database maintenance
  • Battery replacement programs
  • Post-construction/project system health check-ups
  • Regular software upgrade programs
  • Other services as required

Worry-Free Ownership Plans

Combining the manufacturer warranty that you receive with your system installation with an extended warranty on materials, equipment and labor, and with elements from the peak performance plans above, the ASG worry-free ownership plan allows a system owner the ability to budget for all required service and maintenance in advance, and trust that any issue will be corrected without incurring additional or unplanned expenses.

Preferred Service Rate & Response Program (PSP)

ASG has amassed hundreds of customers since 1963 when our company was founded. Our customers count on ASG to provide maintenance and repair services to their electronic security systems when trouble occurs. In order to better service and prioritize our long-term and dedicated customers, ASG has implemented the preferred service program (PSP) to ensure that our best customers receive priority service. For a nominal annual rate, your company can be assured of receiving prioritized service and maintenance, discounted hourly service rates, and reduced rates on replacement parts when needed.
