Aronson Security Group (ASG) is proud to announce that PSA Security Network has elected Mike Kobelin, ASG's Director of Sales for the state of Oregon, as their new Chairman of the Board of Directors.

PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative, elected Kobelin, as well as other directors, at the 2009 PSA –TEC in St. Charles, IL. Kobelin has been an active member of PSA since 1991 and has spent the last eight years on the Board of Directors, originally as the Western Regional Board Member and most recently as the Vice Chairman.

ASG announced today that a record number of participants attended its nationally recognized Security Summit & Expo.

“We had over 450 registered attendees who were all motivated to participate in what we call ‘The Great Conversation’ around transformational change and innovation in the security industry,” said Phil Aronson, President and CEO of ASG.

The Summit began with a keynote focused on “Innovation” by one of the top analysts and thought leaders in the security industry, Steve Hunt of Hunt Business Intelligence. Hunt urged the attendees to move from “securing a building to securing your business.”

On August 20, 2008, Phil Aronson, President of Aronson Security Group (ASG), received the Customer Championing Award 2008 at the Global Security Integration 2010 Conference. This conference for security systems integrators and security consultants is focused on helping customers build the kind of security operations they will need in 2010. Phil Aronson and ASG were presented with this award in honor of "consistently providing exceptional customer value by championing the customer's mission."

ASG moved its long-standing headquarters location in late June, 2008.  The move is intended to help the company continue its focus on providing customers with effective and efficient services.

Phil Aronson was chosen to participate in a Security Technology Executive's column Solutions Snapshot where he was asked to answer the question: "I've been required to downsize my property protection staff. What can I do to maintain my current level of protection with a smaller force?"
