Security's Business is the Business

Every Year I feel blessed.
As I reflect on the past year, I am once again reminded of this 'fabric of trust' that is unique to our industry.
Every day, each of us in the security industry wake up to find ourselves with a very special and humble role: to protect lives, protect the core assets of our organization, and, through our strategic and tactical efforts, increase the ability of our organizations to achieve their strategic objectives.
Security's business is the business.
To be able to achieve this, each of us must be part of creating relationships of trust and value. I want to thank each of you who worked with us in a spirit of collaboration to achieve this:
- The thought leaders of our industry who help shape our strategy and planning and who participate in our Great Conversation community
- The Architects and Contractors who no longer see us as another bid to review, but, rather, a critical voice at the table in designing a building for sustainability, availability, reliability and maintainability. Their clients, the business owners, appreciate the Total Cost of Ownership this represents.
- The Consultants who work with us as team members who have the best interests of the clients in mind as we merge their risk analysis into the technology architecture that will serve them.
- Our integrator partners who we team with through our global integration efforts to ensure that our clients receive the best implementation and service anywhere in the world
- And our clients, who must make a decision every day between cost and value, knowing it is the latter that will ultimately serve their companies best.
We are so proud that you all have chosen us, because, by choosing us, you allow us to serve a cause greater than ourselves: protecting and growing your value.
Finally, I want to thank my ASG associates. I know the sweat, blood and heart you invest to fulfill the 'ASG Way'. Thank you so much for believing in your work, the company, and me.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
