In this continuing video series, Nigel Waterton, Vice President of Strategic Development and Global Alliances for Aronson Security Group, outlines why he approaches technology vendors (or, as some in the industry call them, manufacturers) and service vendors as partners.

The term 'partner' seems to be a pejorative to many security executives and consultants. How can you partner with a product technology company or resell a product without being biased?

I Am The Global Security Network

This is the second video interview in a series (see the first one here).

In this interview, William Plante, an industry risk and resilience veteran and the executive leader of the evolving Professional Services Group at Aronson Security Group, makes a startling statement: "I am the Global Security Network."

Value in Security? It Takes a New Level of Collaboration

Today we are releasing a series of video interviews that took place in Seattle in the first quarter of this year before the Great Conversation in March. It introduces a global information technology company, a security integrator, a product technology company and risk consultancy reviewing their efforts over the last year to redefine how they engage their clients.

Integrator

Aronson Security Group's unique, collaborative approach to integration has led to nine years of average 30%-plus revenue growth. By Tom LeBlanc

If you want to trigger a lively conversation among a group of folks who work for an integration firm, ask them what the word "integrator" means.

You'll hear some highly debated, well thought-out descriptions that generally fall somewhere between "installer" and "miracle worker." A traditional A/V integrator's opinion will differ from that of an IT integrator, whose take will vary from that of a security integrator. Then there's the outlook of a super-sophisticated security integrator that considers itself to be part of the IT equation and has a profound appreciation for what A/V firms do - a company like Aronson Security Group (ASG) - and the conversation reaches new heights. That's what I found when I posed the "integrator" question to a group of ASG executives.

By Debjit Das, Vice President of Global Marketing, Verint Video Intelligence Solutions

For the security industry, a fluctuating economy, high customer expectations, and tight margins make it essential to identify new ways to increase productivity and reduce risk and costs.  Integrators, resellers, and manufacturers seek to enhance their core competencies, while increasing agility and competitive advantage. In today’s market, solution-oriented, value-added selling is key to viability and growth.
