Commercial Integrator

Commercial Integrator (CI), the business book for technology professionals, published its annual "Integrator of the Year" issue in December 2012. Aronson Security Group (ASG) was selected as its Security Integrator of the Year.

The publisher noted that ASG is a "true collaborating integrator, unafraid to share credit (and revenue) if it means partnering with a firm with complementary expertise" that results in a satisfied client.

ASG believes that clients are advantaged by its innovation and collaboration culture.

John Wooden

By Phil Aronson

One of my favorite men and mentors is John Wooden who not only happened to be a great leader, but a pretty good basketball coach as well.

Wooden was called the "Wizard of Westwood" in part because he won an unprecedented ten NCAA national championships in a 12-year period. During this time he won seven in a row as head coach at UCLA. During this winning streak his team won a record 88 consecutive games.

This past week, members of ASG’s business alliance and management team attended the 2011 PSA-TEC in Denver. It is PSA Security Network’s annual event bringing together integrators, manufacturers and end users from across the country. This year the focus was clear – collaboration. With strong attendance and thought-provoking speakers, forums and training classes, the urgency for integrators to collaborate across the security ecosystem was a key topic this year.
